DJP announced an update to its core tax administration system (Coretax) in early May 2026. The update introduces a new version of the e-Bupot Unifikasi feature and refines the corporate Annual Income Tax Return module.
What Changed
The release integrates e-Bupot with a unified monthly SPT, improves NPWP/NIK validation, and adds a compliance dashboard for large taxpayers. Bulk-upload of withholding receipts has also been refreshed.
Analysis
For corporate taxpayers with high withholding volume, the update materially shortens reconciliation time. In-house tax teams and consultants should re-time monthly close to align with the new filing window.
